Thanks for your article, Lisa. It reminds me of the screening of "Hip Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes" that we showed our youth from The Youth Media Workshop. They were riveted and much discussion occurred after the film on all kinds of topics. We didn't talk about how the film was made as much as the content. After reading your article, I see that talking about the process of making the film would have given the young people additional knowledge. Thanks, Kimberlie
